or Why You Should Love Common Core as Much as I Do
I love the Common Core State Standards. I know--it's hard to believe, isn't it, especially with everything you read and see on the internet. Common Core is about reasoning skills. It's about thinking deeply and attending to precision. It helps us get away from "teaching to the test" and get back to teaching in a more holistic fashion. Common Core does not mean that the "old way" is thrown out--don't worry, it's still there! I have put together a collection of websites that will help you understand the Common Core.
